ABOUT ME

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
FOUNDER OF ROCK MOM LIFE

After a decade in special education, I stepped into a new calling — raising my children, leading my home, and building a life rooted in clean living, intentional education, and strong family systems.

Motherhood didn’t slow me down — it sharpened me. I quickly realized that if I wanted to become everything my children needed — emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually — I had to level up. Not just in mindset, but in how I structured our days, our environment, our health, our learning, and our expectations. That decision changed everything.

Where It All Began

I met my husband at a bar in San Diego — classic, right?

Nine months later we were engaged, eighteen months later married, and in 2016 we said “I do” on Coronado Island. Less than a year later, we welcomed our first baby — and that’s when my clean living journey began. What started as simple research into safer baby products quickly turned into a deep dive into ingredient safety, hormone disruption, flame retardants, dyes, and the hidden toxins found in everyday household and personal care products. Suddenly we were the parents researching car seats late into the night and baking dye-free treats for first birthday parties.

At the time, I was teaching special education full-time. Clean living was a passion project — something I studied on nights and weekends. I started a Facebook community to connect with other moms who cared about raising healthy families and felt overwhelmed by the flood of information online.

With a background in education, science, and writing, I felt called to simplify and translate complex health information into practical guidance families could actually use. That passion turned into guides, resources, and a growing online community — and eventually brought us from California to Texas, documenting the journey along the way.

The Educator Behind the Systems

Over ten years in education, I taught both special education and general education across grades K–6. I administered standardized assessments, wrote IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans, trained staff, and supported children with a wide range of learning differences — including autism, auditory processing disorders, speech and language impairments, emotional disturbances, Down syndrome, Tourette’s, English language learners, and more. I built classrooms rooted in structure, clarity, consistency, and empowerment — because children thrive when systems support them.

After our third baby, the demands of classroom teaching and constant trainings became increasingly difficult to balance. I had poured my heart into my work and felt at peace stepping away from the classroom to focus on our growing family.

Then in 2024, after welcoming our fourth baby and walking through a personally challenging season, something shifted. Teaching began calling me back — not in a classroom, but inside my own home.

My husband and I weren’t aligned with the school experiences our daughter was having, and homeschooling felt like the answer we had been searching for. It gave our family renewed purpose, deeper connection, and a learning environment our children genuinely love.

I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re navigating clean living, homeschooling, leadership inside your home, or simply craving more clarity and confidence as a mom — you belong here.

You don’t have to do this alone.
And you absolutely have what it takes to lead your family well.

Welcome to next-level motherhood. 🔓

Why
Rock Mom Life

EXISTS

Today, I’m a homeschool mom of four, systems builder, educator, and founder of the Level Up Motherhood movement — a space for women who refuse to drift through motherhood on autopilot.

Women who choose clarity over chaos.
Leadership over burnout.
Strength over survival mode.

I believe motherhood is one of the highest leadership roles on the planet — and it deserves the same intentionality, excellence, and strategy as any high-performing career.

Inside this space, I teach moms how to:

  • Build clean, nontoxic homes without fear or overwhelm

  • Create systems that reduce mental load and increase peace

  • Raise capable, confident, independent children

  • Lead behavior with structure and empowerment

  • Educate intentionally — whether homeschooling or supplementing at home

  • Elevate their standards, rhythms, and mindset

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment, ownership, and building a life that actually supports your family’s growth.
